    • FreePPP Setup

    FreePPP Setup will be where you do a lot of MAC troubleshooting. Just run through the configuration here, compare it to your setup, and see where you may be setup wrong. On this particular window, General, it will be basically as it is here, with your preferences, modem name, etc. Press Connect when you want to go online. Click the tabs in the center to check your configuration. Also, the GTE Internet Solutions Access Number will be listed at the top in small letters. To go through the different windows, just click on what you want to see. When the arrow turns to a hand icon, you can select there. Also, at the bottom is TCP/IP and MacTCP. Only one of these will be present, not both as shown here. But they are here to allow you to see the screenshots for both.
